Accessibility digital partnerships summit

With 14 per cent of Londoners having some form of disability, digital partners and TfL’s digital channels play a key role in providing the right information such as step-free access routes from street level to the train, lift availability and crowding levels.

TfL hosted an accessibility digital partnerships summit on 2 June 2017 in London that brought together major technology organisations and representatives from disability charities to improve information provision to customers with accessibility requirements.

The day was a great success and we want to keep this momentum going. We want to use this forum to continue engagement between developers, the accessibility community and TfL on how we can develop new features that support people with accessibility needs, share best practice as well as enhancements to the existing data and developing new data.
