Explanation data and updated data

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing you since our technical team would like to confirm with you the following questions and we would be really grateful if you could help us:

1. In http://content.tfl.gov.uk/tfl-live-bus-river-bus-arrivals-api-documentation.pdf., we miss some explanations:
   

   

2. On the other hand, we have been checking that data are not updated every 30 seconds, but every 60 seconds.

In the documentation, it is said that the information can be updated every 30 seconds but it is also pointed out that this would be the minimum. So, we guess that if we download the data every 30 seconds, we are duplicating information. Could it be enough if we download the information every 60 seconds without duplicating nor missing data?

Could you please be a bit more specific? I think the “30 seconds” is part of the HTTP header so that clients know to refresh correctly.

It’s seems that it’s 60 seconds.
