Possible errors with bus route data


We have spotted what appear to be errors in some of the route path information for a handful of bus services.

in both the Unified API call (eg https://api.tfl.gov.uk/line/111/route/sequence/outbound) and the web page (https://tfl.gov.uk/bus/route/111/?direction=outbound) we see the following issues:
Bus 111 - Paths reversed for inbound and outbound
Bus E8 - Paths reversed for inbound and outbound
Bus 5 - Inbound path appears to be the correct shape but order is reversed (and so arrows pointing the wrong way).

It would be good to have this checked.

We are just updating this file now to fix these issues and will let you know when that has been done.
NB - We had a look at E8 and that looks correct to us. Could you take another look at that one?

E8 still looks the wrong way around to me:

https://tfl.gov.uk/bus/route/E8/?direction=outbound The maps shows direction from Ealing Broadway out to Hounslow whilst the stop sequence is the other way around.

We see the same thing with the api at https://api.tfl.gov.uk/line/E8/route/sequence/outbound

The data issue affecting route E8 has been raised as a bug with our Buses tech team under ref INC 2969206. Will let you know when it’s fixed. Thanks for letting us know about it.
