I’m attempting to use the /StopPoint/naptanid API with bus stop naptanids to find the lines that a passenger can change on to from a given bus stop.
Most of the time, this is great. As an example, the naptanid 490000123B at Kentish Town station returns lines “Northern” and “Thameslink”. Just what I’m after.
Unfortunately though, a large number of stops return a handy list of bus lines that call there, and the fact that Help Points are mentioned on the platforms, but no non-bus lines are shown.
Examples of naptanids which exhibit this missing data are 490001108W (Fenchurch Street Station) and 490000094B (Gunnersbury station).
I did think that this was a TfL thing, and that lines aren’t shown at non-TfL stations, but 490001237G (Raynes Park Station) correctly returns “South Western Railway” as a line.
Am I misusing this API, or is there a data problem?
