Sullivans' TfL routes

It has been well publicised that Sullivans gave up their TfL contracts after yesterday. Apparently other operators are providing some sort of service but I imagine that these are unlikely to show up on Countdown and any apps which use it. Goodness knows how closely what Journey Planner comes up with will be to the true position.

217 298 299 327 389 399 549 W9 are the routes affected. Three of them in my area. But just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean everyone’s not out to get me…

As you mentioned, other operators are covering the routes in an interim manner.

In terms of Journey Planner, the operators are running the same timetable as Sullivan’s for 327 389 399 549 and W9. An emergency timetable has been submitted by the operator for 299 and this has been imported into Journey Planner. The Journey Planner team have created special timetables for 217 and 299 which reflect what is being run on these routes.

Obviously, as with any timetable, this is only as accurate as the situation on the ground.

Unfortunately, the late nature of the changes mean that iBus data is not yet available for the routes. This means a lack of arrival predictions and therefore journeys provided by the solution will not be adjusted for live arrivals. We’re hoping to get an update on the iBus situation soon.
