Varnish exception while retrieving icons

I’m seeing a Varnish 503 error while retrieving icons listed in stations.kml.
E.g. for https://tfl.gov.uk/tfl-global/images/syndication/roundel-overground.png , I’m getting:

{
  "exceptionType" : "VarnishBackendSickException",
  "httpStatus" : "Service Unavailable",
  "httpStatusCode" : "503",
  "message" : "This service is currently unavailable",
  "relativeUri" : "/tfl-global/images/syndication/roundel-overground.png"
}

Thanks,
Ricardo

This is still happening. Nearly 3 years later. When will this be resolved?

Hi @pelicanmedia

Apologies I didn’t see this thread at the time.

The stations.kml is very old and we are reviewing its existence with a lot of the other out of date data sources.

The link you refer to is from the old TfL website that existed prior to 2014.

You can request roundel logos on our website.

thanks,
James

Does that mean the below link will expire also?
https://tfl.gov.uk/tfl/syndication/feeds/stations-facilities.xml

Where can I find information about the new feeds?

hi again,

That is about 13 years old now. I’ll add that to the review.

You can call the StopPoint endpoint of the Unified API to get station facilities and that is kept up to date.

Thanks,
James
