IMPORTANT ALERT for road and bus data users - A40 Westway – North west off-slip road closure Apologies for the lateness of this post.
From 22:00 Saturday 12 August, the north-west slip road from the A40 Westway to A3220 West Cross Route will be closed for repair works. This closure will be in place for up to 18 months. A short diversion will be in place via the A219 Wood Lane slip road.
There may be some disruption to traffic – including local buses – on all approaches to the junction at Wood lane during this time. Those travelling through the area should allow more time for their journeys.

Repair work will affect traffic travelling eastbound on the A40 intending to turn off the Westway to continue their journey southbound on the A3220 (towards Holland Park Roundabout)

There will be a short diversion when the closure is in place - traffic will exit the A40 Westway at the A219 Wood Lane slip road and immediately rejoin the A40 Westway by crossing the signalised junction with Wood Lane

Signage will be in place on the wider road network to alert and guide motorists
